How it runs
Measure, plan, work, close
Four stages, in this order. Nothing is prescribed before something has been measured.

Deployment, Provisioning, and Automation: hands-on lab
Opens a terminal instead of a question, takes about 30 minutes, and passes or fails on what you built.
- 01
A diagnostic, not a syllabus
A few questions per domain, sized so it stays a check rather than an exam. You are asked how long you have worked with the technology, and that only decides how hard the questions are: each domain comes back strong, mixed or weak from your answers.
- 02
A plan with no padding
Work is added only for domains below the bar. A domain you already pass gets nothing, so two people sitting the same exam get two different plans.
- 03
Question sets and hands-on labs
Each step is a 5-question set or a lab in the terminal and console. Steps run in order inside a domain, in the order the topic is best learned.
- 04
Closes at the exam's own pass mark
Not a number we invented. A domain closes when everything it served is done and the average clears that exam's pass mark. Close every domain and the full mock exam is what is left.
What it does differently
Three things a static syllabus cannot do
It re-measures as you go
Finishing a domain's steps does not close it on its own: the work also has to average above the pass mark, so a set you scraped through earns you another one instead of a tick.
Labs count toward closing
A domain's score combines question sets and labs, weighted per certification. On a lab-based exam like Terraform Advanced, the labs carry most of the weight.
You can start it again
Finished a path and want another run? A new path starts with a new diagnostic, so the plan is built from where you are now rather than from your first reading.
