Refund policy

1. What you are buying
Premium is a one-off payment for six months of access to one certification. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing recurs, and there is nothing to cancel. Buying the same certification again adds six months to the date you already hold rather than starting over, up to 24 months held at once on one certification. Your Access & purchases page shows the date, the source of every grant and every payment you have made. Prices are per certification and are listed on the pricing page, in US dollars, tax included. At checkout you may see and pay the equivalent in your local currency; the exact amount is shown before you pay.
Who you are buying from. Payment is handled by Stripe as the merchant of record, through its reseller Link. That means your purchase of the access is with Link, which charges your card, calculates and remits the tax, and sends your receipt and invoice; your statement will show LINK.COMbeside our name, and the checkout page says “Sold through Link”. We remain responsible for the product itself: the course, the labs, the grading and everything you can reach with your account.
2. Your 14-day refund, and your right to cancel
You have two routes, and you do not have to choose carefully between them. We do not ask you to give anything up in exchange for your access starting immediately.
Our own promise. Ask us within 14 days of paying and we refund you in full, no questions asked. We do not count how many labs you opened or how many questions you answered. This is our policy, it is not conditional on anything, and it applies wherever you live.
Your statutory right, which we do not touch.Because Link is the seller of record, Link’s own purchase terms give consumers in the EU and the UK the statutory right to cancel an order during the 14-day cooling-off period, counted from when you get access. You exercise it by contacting Link support and saying that the cooling-off period is the reason. Nothing we ask you at checkout removes or limits that right, and we no longer ask you to waive it.
In practice the two overlap almost exactly, which is the point: within 14 days, either route gets your money back.
3. After the 14 days
Outside the window we may refund the unused part of your six months at our discretion, less the time already used, when that is the fair outcome - a certification retired halfway through your access, for example. Statutory rights, including remedies for a service that does not work as promised, always remain unaffected.
A refund ends the access it paid for, and only that: it revokes exactly what that one payment granted, so if you refund one certification you keep any others you bought separately, and if you had bought the same certification twice you keep the months the other payment bought.
4. If you dispute the charge with your bank instead
You can, and it is the slower road for both of us. A chargeback goes to Link, which is the seller of record, and we are told about it; we do not take your access away when it arrives, because a dispute is a question and not a verdict. What we do is answer it.
We would much rather you asked us first. Within 14 days we refund in full with no questions, which is faster than any bank and leaves nothing on either record. If the dispute is upheld, the access that payment bought ends in the same way a refund ends it.
5. How to request a refund
Ask us, or ask Link.Either works, and we would rather you asked us: we can see your account and issue the refund ourselves. Link, as the seller of record, can also issue one, and handles cooling-off requests and anything to do with the payment itself. Link’s support for purchases sold through it is at support.link.com.
To ask us, email support@labiqo.com from the address on your account, with the word refund in the subject line. Tell us the approximate purchase date. No form is required, though a sentence on why you are leaving helps us improve.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of our decision. Your bank or card issuer may take a few extra days to show the credit.
7. There is nothing to cancel
A one-off payment does not recur, so there is no subscription to cancel and no future charge to stop. Your access simply ends on its own date, which your account page shows. If you want money back, that is a refund and it is described above.
